Slip Resistant Entrance Grilles for Student Housing

At the Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida, the school’s newest student housing facility was outfitted with Hendrick’s walk-off grating. Encased with wood decking at entrances from the courtyard and the parking lot, the grates were constructed with Hendrick’s proprietary and mechanically interlocked, profile bar.
Fabricated from 316 stainless steel, the grating uses B12 bars with 1/8" slot openings to ensure the mats are ADA compliant. The grating also features 1/2" strips of slip resistant coating to provide maximum traction in all weather conditions.
