Entrance Grilles with Slip Resistant Coating in Nashville, TN
Tennessee State Museum
Project Location: Nashville, TN
Bar Profile: B12 Bar | .188" opening
Architect: EOA Architects & HGA
Located on Nashville’s Bicentennial Mall complex, the Tennessee State Museum recently opened. The new building showcases the institution’s one-of-a-kind artifacts, art and historical documents in an interactive and engaging manner. In collaboration with EOA Architects and HGA, Hendrick manufactured the stainless steel entrance grilles found at all of the museum’s main doors.
The 304 stainless grilles are made of Hendrick’s award winning and proprietary Profile Bar. The B12 profile, 3/16” slot openings and alternating non-slip coating on the bars, ensure the grating meets the project’s specifications and ADA compliance requirements. The slip resistant coating helps to maximize traction when entering and exiting the museum in both a wet and dry environment. The grilles are secured in place with Hendrick’s new EZ Loc mounting system, making installation very efficient by cutting the time-to-install in half versus standard mounting methods.
