Blackwelder was an adaptive reuse project in Culver City, California which converted industrial space into a campus of freestanding buildings. The transformation demanded additional parking to meet future tenants’ parking requirements. In partnership with Park Plus Incorporated, Hendrick equipped the Triple Stacker vehicle lifts with perforated corrugated panels to shield the vehicles from view.
Hendrick’s panels, made from .040" aluminum, provide nearly 2,000 sq. feet of coverage and utilize its exposed fastener system for mounting. Hendrick’s BWC374 profile features repeating 7/8" high ribs or waves. While available perforation patterns are nearly endless, the specific pattern chosen here was 1/8" round holes on 3/16" staggered centers. The panels were pre-finished with a two coat Kynar, in Rocky Grey.
