Perforated Metal Cladding in Oklahoma City, OK
American Fidelity Parking Structure
Project Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Perforation Pattern: .250" dia. holes | 23% open area
Architect: TAP Architecture
Situated along the east side of the freeway near Britton and Broadway Extension in Oklahoma City, sits a recently developed parking structure clad with Hendrick’s perforated metal panels. In collaboration with TAP Architecture, Hendrick’s panels tastefully complement the headquarters office building of American Fidelity.
Four hundred and fifty panels were manufactured from 3/16" aluminum; featuring 1/4" diameter holes on 1/2" staggered spacing and finished in a sage brown powder coat. An additional one hundred and fifty perforated panels with a dove gray powder coat were supplied by Hendrick to give the structure’s appearance a hint of contrast. Generally, each panel spans between 10' and 12' in length and stands almost 4' tall. The panels were mounted with a curtainwall system using a 3/16" glass pocket adapter.
