One of the leading healthcare providers, University Hospitals, located in Cleveland, Ohio, relied on Hendrick’s architectural expertise for a cornerstone project of its Vision 2010 strategic plan. The plan was University Hospital’s most ambitious in history, which was a five-year, $1.2 billion community investment.
The six-story, 800-space parking structure is the focal point of University Hospital’s main campus. The exterior is equipped with 3003-H14 aluminum solid and perforated panels. The perforated pattern has 1/4" punches on 1/2" staggered centers. Adding a unique design element to the structure, vertical corrugated panels were incorporated at University Hospital. They feature six broad low and six narrow high cells. The corrugated panels were supplied by Hendrick with a mill finish and a value-added partner powder coated the remaining panels.
