The Lakes at Techridge is a 66-acre master planned mixed-use development in one of Austin’s emerging high tech corridors. The campus includes a two-story office building clad with custom perforated metal panels from Hendrick. In collaboration with STG Design, Hendrick’s panels provide for a truly one-of-a-kind piece of architecture.
The panels were manufactured from 1/8" 5052-H32 aluminum. Each panel features ten different sized egg-shaped holes randomly positioned. The custom design equates to a 56% open area, which gives the building protection from the Texas heat and adequate visibility when looking out the windows. The panels were coated with a clear anodize finish.
