Project Location: Houston, TX
Bar Profile: B6 | .250" bar spacing
Architect: Pickard Chilton
One of the newest contributions to Houston’s skyline is 609 Main at Texas, a 1,050,000 square foot trophy tower. Designed by Connecticut –based architectural firm Pickard Chilton, there was special emphasis on the building’s interior, specifically the “hotel-style” lobby’s seriously elegant finishes.
The building’s revolving door features Hendrick’s proprietary and award-winning B12 profile bar as its entrance grille. The curved stainless steel grille includes 3/16" bar spacing and standard hold-down tabs. Hendrick’s B6 profile bar lines the floor perimeter of the building’s advanced underfloor HVAC system. The linear ventilation grilles measure 6" wide, include 1/4" bar spacing and 2-1/2" support spacing.
