Hendrick Manufacturing has been operating in Carbondale, Pennsylvania since its founding in 1876. It's current 125,000 square foot facility supports our perforating operations and ancillary value-add fabrication abilities.
We produce highly cosmetic, close-tolerance metal fabrications and perforated metals. In fact, we are the leading family-owned provider of perforated metal products in North America, serving many industrial and architectural markets. We procure over 30 million pounds of raw material annually, which gives us the purchasing leverage that ensures you get your products — even during metal shortages.
We are proud of our company’s 140-year history, and our employees’ longevity and experience. Employee tenure is 10+ years, with an aggregate of over 2,000 years of knowledge, providing a wealth of perforating experience at our core. We boast dedicated lean resources and engage in best-practice lean manufacturing events throughout the company.
In the 1940s, Hendrick began offering profile screens to support the mining and paper industries. Over the years, the mining industry’s demand for screens increased, especially in the central states. The Hendrick Screen Company was created in 1974 and a new facility was erected in Owensboro, Kentucky. Shortly thereafter, Hendrick expanded into other markets, including wastewater treatment, water intake, petrochemical, industrial filtration and architectural.
Hendrick Screen has grown to become one of the most recognized global manufacturers of quality wedge wire and Profile Bar screens. Today, our customers number in the thousands and include many Fortune 500 companies. Our products are delivered to more than 35 countries around the world.
